Who we are

HS-USA is a nonprofit public 501c3 charity incorporated in the State of Michigan, USA.

 Our Board of Trustees is composed of nine members; our annual public meeting is held in Hamburg, Michigan in mid-June.  We will soon be interviewing medical personnel to serve on our Medical Advisory Panel; the Panel�s purpose is to write RFPs (requests for proposals), post them in professional journals, review proposals for research, review research results and publish them.


Our Mission and Goals
  1. We will solicit funds for the promotion and facilitation of research into the causes, treatments and cure of Hidradenitis Suppurativa and will advance knowledge through the publication of Hidradenitis Suppurativa research in peer review journals, scientific books, the general press, pamphlets, world wide web, symposia and conferences.   
  2. We will provide a forum for Hidradenitis Suppurativa patient advocacy and rights.  
  3. We will support educational outreach to instill awareness and knowledge of Hidradenitis Suppurativa by the public and private sectors.
